Just me.

Just me.
I dare you to let me be your one and only.

One of the good things left in the world.

Different styles, different artists. However, music is the one thing that helps unite people that little bit closer together. The love for a band or certain type of guitar can give you years of conversation, memories and concerts. Music has the power of making me feel every single emotion out there, but nothing but love and admiration for the artist. Listening to songs I adore fills me with utter joy and happiness. I physically cannot go a day without listening to music. It's my drug.

From The Beatles to Lady Gaga- I honestly cannot pin point a specific genre of music. I have utter admiration for particular artists. Rock will always be in my heart, however. With my Dad being in a few bands in his younger days, I grew up listening to heavy rock bands- with the occasional sing a long to Status Quo. Some people joke and laugh about that, but it doesn't bother me. They'll never feel the emotional connection I feel with every single band or singer I have ever liked. Honestly, I do feel a connection. I get attached and I love. Music is there for me when nobody else is, there for anybody. Whoever first listened with their ears and incorporated it with their hands, voice, and passed their wisdom down- I salute you. Because if it wasn't for people like that, we probably wouldn't have the music that we have today. Even if I don't like an artist, of corse I'll applaud them. They'll be making an impact on somebody's life, it just might not be my cup of tea.

I know this is such an in depth post, but I feel so passionately about music. I wish my Dad had got his shot- his band almost got signed twice, it just wasn't meant to be. When I hear my Dad still singing their songs today, I really listen to the words. And you know what? I bet if they'd have kept at it, they'd have made it and their songs would have gone down in musical history. I'm not saying this because he's my Dad and i'm therefore bias, but the lyrics are genius. They vary from romance to rock, to imperfection. They remind me of The Beatles lyrics- beautifully polished. Down below will be pictures of some of the artists I personally thank for their music. Because if these artists hadn't have followed their dreams, I may have fewer favourite songs and less love.

I thank John Mayer for 'Free Fallin', and for being so damn hot ;)

I thank Status Quo for going through with their concert with the flu!
And for always being there for my Dad :)

I thank AC/DC for being the greatest rock band ever. Rest In Peace Bon Scott.

I thank Nickelback for every single one of their songs. They're lyrical geniuses and
have helped me through some bad times.

I thank the Kaiser Chiefs for being traditional Yorkshire Lads. Their very
first album is wicked and their songs are absolutely brilliant.

I thank Stereophonics for their different sound and incredible lyrics.

I thank Lady Gaga for telling her fans it's good to be different.
I thank her for her lyrics because they're from her heart. I thank her
for putting her everything into her music.

I thank Rihanna for being that little bit different. For her catchy, upbeat songs
and unique lyrics. I thank her for simply being herself.

I thank Chris Brown for not giving up, not even now.
It makes me think giving up isn't the answer. If you want it, you gotta work for it no matter
what anybody else thinks.

Most of all, I thank Busted for being there for me during my childhood, and even now I can't get enough of them. Charlie's voice is absolutely gorgeous and it melts me. Listening back through their old hits, I now can appreciate the music. The lyrics are very clever and I love them so much even if they're no longer together. 'Why' will remain one of my favourite songs forever. 'Well maybe a change would keep me high, stop me thinking and wondering why' are my favourite ever lyrics from a song. They just speak to me like no others.

I can't believe i forgot these!
Daughtry- I thank you for your inspirational songs. You have made a huge impact in my life and you are one of my favourite bands and you will be forever. Chris' powerful, beautiful vocals just leave me in total ore of him. I absolutely love this band with all my heart.

There are so many more artists I could thank, but I'd be here all day and night. I guess what I'm trying to say, is that music is everything to me.

Thank you for reading. Please tell me your musical inspirations x
