I really feel the need.

Sorry guys, a bit of a rant. But i've just seen someone's Facebook status and their making fun of somebodies religion. What the hell has it got to do with them!? Even religious people have feelings. Anyway, what difference does that make to what kind of person they are? I've experienced this myself, and i'm not even religious. Just some stupid little rumour. It sickens me when I read stuff like this, because I know what it's like to be on the receiving end and it's just utter crap. It's bullying. Religion doesn't make a difference to who you are. It's just pathetic. It's horrible that some people have to bully others in order to feel a sense of achievement in themselves. I for one never judge a person, I get to know them first. I just wish more people would be like that. They know a little detail about them, not their story. Perhaps they've been through a lot in life and they've found comfort in God, or another type of religion. It's just the same as when people find comfort in food or even music. Religion is just one tiny detail, one tiny percentage of a person. Seriously, I just wish people would stop for a minute and think- wait, this could hurt somebody. Because it's likely that it will. This post wasn't even about me, but it's annoyed me because I have experienced it. It's awful walking down the corridor and having people look at you and whispering, with you wondering what their going to say to you next. The anticipation of making it through school without being called a name. The sadness of getting to know somebody new, and just waiting for the friendship to crumble right in front of your eyes. That's happened to me, a lot. I've learnt to cope a bit now, by sticking with the people who I know love me. I'm one of the lucky ones, because I stand up for myself and I have friends. Yes, I may seem strong and confident. But my experience will be with me forever. I've gotten over it, believe you me. But i'll never forget. I lost a new friend and a forever best friend in the process. People like that are kind of hard to let go of. Like they say, it's hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember.

Questions and Answers.

1. Are you happy?
of corse i am. i am the happiest i have been in a while (:

2. Are you listening to anything? If so, what?
yes, You Me At Six- Liquid Confidence <3

3. Where in the world would you love to travel to?
there are so many beautiful places i would love to visit, but i'd have to say South Africa.

4. Facebook? Twitter? Formspring? Youtube?
yes, all of them :P

5. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
hopefully, in a very happy relationship with a job i love doing, and a dog :)

6. Where do you live?
Pontefract in West Yorkshire, England.

7. One thing you love about your hometown and one thing you hate.
-love: just the fact that i feel so at home. it'll be in my heart forever.
-hate: the accent that comes with it :P it's not the nicest

8. Views on Lady Gaga?
a very beautiful and inspirational woman.

9. Do you have a boyfriend?
nope :)

10. If you could do anything tomorrow, what would it be?
if the anything is endless, then i'd hop on a plane to Miami and once i got there, i'd just lie on the beach. simple, i know. but that's what i'd do (: oh, i'd also make best friends with Rihanna. well, why not? :P

11. What would you say, are your special talents?
i smile a lot, to hopefully make someone feel a sense of happiness. i love that, and i'm hopefully quite good at making people feel happy. I have an alright singing voice too, but i'm not brilliant. I can carry a tune :) I guess you could say my story writing skills are pretty awesome, i love the fact of fiction. anything can happen..Oh! i can also identify any type of dog

12. What were your dreams as a child?
probably to always be interested in playing with my Barbies. A little bit weird, but i loved them so so much as a kid. Also, to have a dog one day. i used to be petrified of them, yet i used to study dog books and my knowledge about the animal just grew and grew. i now have a dog, so that childhood dream has come true- which is a nice thought :)

13. If money was no option, what would you have?
i'd have a beautiful house somewhere quiet, but hot. perhaps somewhere in America. I'd have a little Mini Cooper to race round in. Also, i'd be a recording artist and be involved in the music industry. I'd have a party house too, where i could invite friends around. I'd also have a unicorn, because that would be just plain wicked.

14. What would you like to do before you die?
visit as many different and unique, beautiful places as possible. when i was younger, traveling was a problem for me. i used to be terrified of aeroplanes and i kind of still am, but now they don't stand in my way. To be honest, i'd like to do anything that makes me happy. I'd like to leave this world knowing that i have been happy throughout my life and that i have lived it to the fullest. I like taking risks and exploring, because that means you'll have more to remember. More stories to tell, more images.

So from this, I sound like a dog obsessed teenager who wants to see all these nice places. I have many interests, such as fashion, photography and journalism. I'm a nosy person, so i like seeing new things and remembering them. I guess that's where everything links in. Fashion expresses emotions and personal taste, which can be like a tropical paradise on your body. And it is the same with the world. There are so many fascinating places. I like taking photos and writing about what i have seen. And yes, i do love dogs. I always have done and it's more than likely i always will. I just love the fact that a creature who cannot speak or isn't in fact human, can become so attached to us. I'd love a trusty little friend beside me all my life. They're one of the things in life that can't judge you on what you wear or your taste in music. I find that really magical.

The sun is shining down on my little green garden. Cute.

Product I'm Loving!

Barry M Instant Nail Effects!

I've heard a lot of positive things about this Barry M product- so i thought, why not give it a go!? I got a bit confused though :P You have to put a nail varnish( pink, blue, etc) on, let it dry and then put a coat of this stuff on. I thought you painted it on and it chose a colour for you and it cracked hahah, blonde moment much? :')

Not the best lighting, but i decided on a light pink, so i could really see the cracks :)

Can't wait to go out and show it off now haha! I'm going shopping to Meadowhall with some friends on Friday- can't wait to see all the fit Hollister workers ;) haha! x

Ok, Cocanut Man..Moonhead, and P. Are you ready!?

Oh yeah, Jessie J.

Honestly, I never thought i'd blog about this woman. But last night completely changed my opinion of her. When 'Do It Like A Dude' first came out, i wasn't too keen. But after actually listening to it all the way through, I realised that yeah- this girls got talent! I feel in love with Price Tag straight away though :P

Anyway, last night was the Brit Awards 2011 and Jessie J won the Critics Choice award- implying that she will have a wonderful year ahead of her. But what really did it for me was her speech. She was almost crying at the fact she'd won the award and all of the support she was getting. But what I loved the most was when she thanked everyone, from people who'd been her all these 6 years- or someone who downloaded her song just last week. She seemed like the most genuine person there last night and she truly deserved that award. Go Jessieeeee!

I love her unique style. Totally ghetto and trendy at the same time. Also, her hair is just plain cool!

Her eye make-up in this is beautiful. I want! And the wig is lovely and the blue lips are different. Style crush! Loveya Jessie J x

Topshop Review!

Hello There!

It feels like i haven't posted a blog in agesss, so i thought i'd do a review to make up for it (: and what better than to do a review on one of Britain's biggest stores- Topshop .

Ok! So here's how it's gunna work. I've browsed the Topshop website and picked out a few key pieces I'm loving( well..it's me, it'll probably be more than a few!)

How hot is this colour!? it's so bold and pretty- great for brightening up any outfit and making a statement! I'd love to invest in this lovely colour.

Just gunna jump straight into it here and kick things off with two pairs of gorgeous shoes & a casual shirt. The white pair of sandals are my faves- but their pushing it a bit with 48 pounds!(sorry, haven't figured out where the pound sign is on this mac...) but their so pretty, hopefully they'll come in the sale!
The pair of suedes are really cute for just chilling on holiday, & the shirt is very versatile. Shirts are all the rage this season! But i'm not sure if i'm too keen...shirts remind me of school!

First off, the floral snood is gorgeous! It'll glam up a simple vest top like the black one on the left. It's got beautiful spring colours and is just down right cute! And those killer wedges will look great with a simple dress for a summer party. Plus, they'll make you look about 5inches taller(which is always nice!)

I'm trying different things out atm, and shirts will be one of them. With this one being blue, it will bring out my blue eyes and look pretty against my pale skin. I think the reason i'm not a big shirt fan is because they all seem to be white or a camel colour-which doesn't compliment my skin tone. Maybe this one will change my opinion?

Check out these! Their sexy, flirty and fun! Perfect for catching the eye of that guy you fancy. I'd love a pair!

I'm not usually a red/deep pink kinda girl- but i've made an exception for this! It's plain, but it's a bold colour which i love. it'll jazz up any outfit!

Just throwing this in because One Direction are bringing a book out and it's called 'Forever Young' and i thought this was a big coincidence. oooh i love them!!

Finally just some little bracelets to finish off an outfit. I love each one because their all different, but somehow go together!

Well that's it for the moment! :) xx

An accessory!

Headscarfs are biiiig now! So i thought, why not try one out? I'm thinking about wearing it to school one of the days next week..or some of them! It's not a very good picture but it looks good in real life. Because this is the first time ive done this, i bet it won't go right any other time! That's what usually happens haha..oh well, fingers crossed! I'm definitely gunna get another! :D <3

The Greatest Film of all time.

Avatar

Majestic, Mysterious & Magical.

Avatar is one hell of a good movie. My obsession all started in May when I came down with the chicken pox. I was in bed for two weeks..and that can get kinda borrrrring. My dad decided that I needed a long, interesting movie to watch to entertain me- and he told me Avatar was perfect. Now, I wasn't too keen on this idea. Avatar looked like a geeky film, and a little bit boring. But having nothing else to do, my attention was completely devoted to watching Avatar. And after watching it, I watched it again. And again...and again until I knew almost everybody's lines in the first scene. I was mesmerised.

Avatar is all based around a group of scientists trying to find this incredible mineral on the planet Pandora. To do so, the human's need to connect with the people of the planet- the Na'Vi; so they create Avatars from human DNA and DNA of the natives.

That's where this guy comes into it. Sam Worthington plays Jake Sully- the paralysed ex marine, twin brother of the real scientist who's life was cut short days before setting off for Pandora. It is Jake's duty to fulfil what his brother had set out to achieve. By being an Avatar, Jake can now walk and run again- which he finds incredible. It really is another life for him.

Avatar takes you on a journey through the struggles of Jake's experience on Pandora. We watch him grow and develop as an Avatar..and as a human.

"Everything is backwards now. Like out there is the true world, and in here is the dream."

This feisty female imbeds in his mind. Jake is so smitten that his scientists and his own life are put at risk. With scenes of romance and violence- it really is a film for everybody.

The romance side of Avatar really gripped me. The graphics and the whole storyline had me 'wowing' and leaving utterly breath taken. No other movie has left an impact on me quite like this one. Some people may think that it's 2 hours of giant blue smurfs- but they didn't have chicken pox while watching. I really, truly focused on every single second of this enchanting film and James Cameron is one clever guy. He really has thought of ever single tiny detail- even Norm, the goofy scientist, forgets his backpack. Just, what!? That's genius! Soft, warming colours leave your eyes sparkling with magic, while  the battle scenes leave you hanging from the edge of your seat.

It took 14 years of planning, editing and creations to achieve Avatar- my whole lifetime.

Sometimes, when people ask me in person what I think of Avatar- I cannot answer them. Because I love it so much that I cannot think of just one answer. Avatar has had a huge impact on me and hopefully it comes across in this blog.

I just love it. From the intensity of the battles, to the simple I See You. I cried at the end because it was so emotional- I'd seen everything happen and it truly feels like you go through everything with Jake.

Even though I have Avatar on DVD, I even got the extended edition, collectors edition for Christmas which I SCREAMED at when I saw it! So, I'm going to kick back, relax and pop to see Jake in Pandora. See you in 6 years...

Justin Bieber.

Yeah...I'm crazy about this guy (:

I've wrote a lil bit about this Canadian sensation before, but he's so damn fantastic that he deserves a whole post about him! He's gorgeous, talented and has an amazing sense of humour. What's not to love?

At first, I didn't really understand what all the fuss was about. How stupid was I? He was quick to charm me and I can see Justin playing a part in my life forever. I'm not obsessed, but i'd sure as hell love to meet him one day. He's a big inspiration to me..

He's taught me, really, to never say never. That with a little drive, you can do anything. A little step like putting videos up on Youtube led JB to big things and I find that magical. If you've read my post about some things I got for Christmas, you'll know I got his book. And it's one of the best books i've ever read! His humour really comes across in it, as well as his softer side.
In the book, he tells the story of him being a busker and singing on the streets just for a little bit of cash to go to Disneyland. He tells of the song 'Sarah Beth' - which he used to sing. He said this was his best song, because it really used to tug at people's heartstrings. The song is about a girl with cancer. It's beautiful and very touching.

He also delved a little bit into when he broke his foot..and no offence dude, but I laughed my head off! When you stated that you'd broke your foot..on stage...in the middle of the song...in front of thousands...and Taylor Swift - i don't know why but i just cracked up!
Hating on all the cars made me laugh too..and when you pranked the reader. That was kinda sweet actually :)

Anywhooo, he also goes on to say how he likes nothing more than a good prank. I quite fancy having a go at pranking him ;)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66BFDeiu9oU < oh yeah, check this out. It's hilarious!

Right, onto the main stuff. Music!

The thing i love about Justin Bieber the most is the fact he can play musical instruments: the trumpet, guitar, drums and piano. Guitar and piano are my two favourite musical instruments and it's a little dream of mine to have a lesson from him. A girl can dream..right? :)

I was pretty exited when he came on the scene. I thought "finally, somebody in my age group that I can fancy!" because I usually go for the older guys. Haha..kinda makes me feel like I have a chance :P

Anyway, buying Justin Bieber's album was what made me take him seriously. 'Wow..this guy can really sing' i thought. What else can this guy do? He almost seems..kinda perfect.

Never Let You Go, One Less Lonely Girl, Down To Earth, Pray, U Smile & Somebody To Love and Never Say Never are my favourites.

BIEBER FEVER!?
haha..yeah, I have Bieber Fever alright :)
I guess you could say i'm a little smitten. He's talented, wicked sense of humour, gorgeous, and seems like a genuinely nice guy. Maybe some day, I'll be able to tell him those things in person. Hey, never say never right?
